"Gakuyukai" Association

The "Gakuyukai" Association promotes friendship and helps its members lead a healthy and meaningful student life in accordance with the educational philosophy of Ferris University. The graduates of this university automatically become members of this association.

Ferris University Operation Festival Committee(F.F.O.C)

The Ferris university Festival Committee plans and organizes the Ferris Festival that takes place in fall every year.

Clubs

The official students clubs include the two types: sports and culture; many students are actively involved in club activity.

Sports:

Tennis, volleyball, badminton, field hockey, golf, cheerleading, judo, kendo, Shorin kenpo, dance, hip-hop dance, flamenco, yachting, etc.

Culture:

ESS (English Speaking Society), drama, art, literature, brass band, chamber orchestra, light music, musical, tea ceremony, flower arrangement, calligraphy, sign language, international volunteer (IVUSA), eco-campus, etc.

Other Campus Activities

Besides regular course work, participating in extracurricular activities will foster personal growth. Through participation in extracurricular activities, students can develop independence and cooperative skills as well as acquire practical techniques, all of which are likely to be useful in the future. Participation, albeit a matter of personal choice, is strongly encouraged.
