社会言語学、TESOL(英語教授法)

私の研究は、日本を主としたアジア圏における第二言語学習のモチベーション、言語アイデンティティ、バイリンガリズムに焦点を当てています。言語が個人の生活や社会をどのように形成するかを探究し、英語学習と世界の現実を架橋する研究を進めています。
My research focuses on motivation, language identity, and bilingualism in second
language learning, primarily within the Asian region centered on Japan. I explore how language shapes individuals' lives and societies, advancing research that bridges English learning with global realities.

日本の大学における英語教育を対象に、英語をめぐる考え方や社会的背景が、学生
の英語学習や自己意識にどのような影響を与えるかを研究してきました。近年は、AIの活用が英語学習に与える影響にも関心を持ち、高等教育における新しい英語教育のあり方を探っています。
My research has focused on English education in Japanese universities, examining how attitudes toward English and its social context influence students' English learning and self-perception. In recent years, I have also become interested in the impact of AI utilization on English learning, exploring new approaches to English education in higher education.
