My research investigates the integration of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL)for university-level English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and English as a Second Language(ESL) learners in Japan, emphasizing the fusion of language acquisition with subject comprehension.

My research investigates the integration of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL)for university-level English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and English as a Second Language(ESL) learners in Japan, emphasizing the alignment of language acquisition with subject comprehension. The development of a "Structured Fluency Practice Model" represents a notable stride in enhancing oral communication skills within ESP and ESL presentation classes, offering a tailored and structured approach to meet learners' specific needs. Incorporating technology, the integration of Quizlet® Live for Vocabulary Review actively engages students, reinforcing terminology retention. Exploring smartphone usage in English learning adds a dynamic dimension to language education, providing valuable insights into the evolving landscape of language acquisition. Rooted in an unwavering commitment to adaptability, my research seeks to advance ESP and ESL instruction, contributing to language pedagogy discourse and offering practical strategies for educators to promote effective language acquisition and subject comprehension across diverse educational environments.
